Pearls and Pencil: A Blogger Recognition Award

I remember getting this purple skirt at a my university trade fair and never wore it until about tww o Sunday's ago and I actually loved it. Why I didn't wear it, is a mystery to me. I believe some of us have clothes in our wardrobe or closet we haven't worn in forever. Take out time maybe a Saturday or Sunday or any free time you have and try them out. You never know, you may be hiding one of your soon to be wardrobe staple.

My love for fashion has always been a part of me; i remember wearing my mums clothes, shoes / jewelry and playing dress up in her room right in front of the mirror and imagining myself all grown up wearing them. It got suppresed by lifes circumstances and choices

but in my final year in university that all changed. I started looking for ways to express my love for fashion and then Pearls And Pencil was born.

-Give two pieces of advice for new bloggers

1. Be You! The blogoshere is getting saturated and people can spot a copy cat or phony.Do your own thing.

2. Be patient! You may not get recognised immediately, dont give up! This things take time.
